Sony MVC-FD51
The Sony MVC-FD51 (one has to love the model names....) is by today's standards an oddity. It is a digital still camera that has fixed focus, limited features, but dependability built in. The camera was released sometime around 1998 and as the photos show, it's media is not film... it's 3 1/4 inch 1.44 MB floppy disks. You know, the ones that look like the "save" icon. The resolution isn't great by today's standards, and it's not the fastest at writing the images. BUT... it does surprisingly well at grabbing a digital snapshot at motion. I'll add more to this as I gather more information about it.... below you will find photos of the device, and a few that I took with it. If you have specific questions, please comment below and I'll answer the best I can. Thanks!
